View Full Version : Injector leak
I have a '90 240sx and acts wierd when I drive a low speeds. when I'm in 1st and I'm driving through a parking lot or something and I keep the car around 1900-2000 rpm the car starts to buck like Its running out of fuel or something. So, I check under the hood and my first and second injectors have moisture and it was fuel. Has anyone else out there have this same problem with their 240sx. Now I've never taken out the injector so I don't know but is it that my injectors leaking or is there a bad seal between the injector and where it plugs into the intake(can't think of what they called it). How much do you think it'll cost for the parts.

You might have worn or bad O rings. That's probably what's causing the fuel to leak from your injectors.
Thanks I'm going to go ahead and replace that this week.

Injector leak can be from the o-rings on BOTH sides of the injectors. If the o-rings don't work check how well they fit in the manifold and the fuel rail. If either are worn this could cause a leak. O-rings should be less than 10 bucks but if a new fuel rail or remachining for the manifold is required the n the price could be substantial.
