Hey....
I have peak performance pro version valve springs, and Brain Crower step 2 cams. Other than that, the car is stock. Will the car run too lean or it will add performance?
And if I happen to have only the pro version valve springs, but with the stock cams, will it cause any bad thing to the car?

You'll need to tune the ECU for the cam.
You can run aftermarket Valve spring with Stock cam it will be fine.
Im Running B/C Valve Springs with stock cams with no probs
all stock

like sileighty said,
increasing the lift or duration of the profile will affect a/f mixture into the chamber, you're going to need to fix your timing and fuel delivery to optimize.

oh really? Cz i thought it says the BC step 2 264/264 is plug and play, you dont need any extra mod on your car

Did you get the street or race Spec Cams?
the Race 264's require stronger Valve springs and B/C Recomends to get a tune for the Race Specs
If you had some 256's you could use stock valve springs and no tune

get a power fc so you can tune the AFR, fuel timing, and ignition timing

I had a set of BC stage 2 cams, I checked on their website and even called a tech from the BC hotline and they all said you wouldn't have to touch anything, they said just put em in and go... but i don't like BC cuz the set of cams they gave me snapped... They gave me another set and took em to a race shop to have em install and it happened again, so I just got my money back... I don't touch BC products anymore.
You COULD run it untuned,
but you know you'll get more power tuned

BC is fine.
Typically user error is to blame, even if you think you did it right.
You need to take torque sequence slow and very steady on cheap parts.
Once all the caps are torqued in then its fine.
HKS you can fucking throw them off a bridge.
thats what I run/
Tomei is good too

He wasn't saying anything bad about the HKS, and if you actually read what shadows wrote is that he actually uses the HKS cams himself. When he said that you could fucking throw them off a bridge he was refering to their durability, not saying that they suck. If you read his whole post you would be able to figure that out just from the context of what he was saying.

i read the whole post but it just sounds different from a typing context and verbal context.
cause i have heard other people talk bad about them before and wanted to know why

I believe Steve meant that you can throw them off a bridge and still run them with no problems, i.e. that they are of superb quality. Re-read his post. Why else would he be running them?
