they have good treadwear and good grip. im still not that good at drifting and all, but a new pair on the rear of my car (@ 40psi) lasted a whole day with a lot of tread left.

i put in a new pair in the front still looks good too and it's been through two events and i use it daily.

treadwear rating is 360 if i remember right.

Really? I'm doing as much research as I can right now to figure out exactly what I want to go with, and all the comments I can find on the NeoGen just write it off as a crappy ricer show tire. Same with the Parada Spec II. They grip pretty well?

I don't drift, and it doesn't really snow in VA Beach, so I'm mainly looking for grip and dry/wet handling.

They also have the Ecsta ASX in the sizes I want, which scored just slightly behind the SPT in dry handling/traction on TireRack's consumer survey...

Neo Gens are crap for drifting but OK for DD and mild spirited driving. They get slimey then chunk when hot. I had them on the front at one event and it killed any steering input, excessive understeer ftl.

I love the 452 for the fact that my car is a dd and it holds up great from aggressive driving every once a while. I do not have to drive slower than normal speed during rain with them (unless you always take your car to the limit. That does not count). But most of the people I know will not go with these tires if they track more often.

I talked to the manager of a discount tire during grand opening and he said that every time a new store opens, there is a 100 off of everything as a set. Tires, wheels, you name it. My roommate took advantage of it and bought a set of 16' enkei for 240 when the store's grand opening, and then this time he bought a set of BFG for like 350 (If you buy a wheel and tires combo, it is only 100 off). I wish my car does not cost as much so I could do the same. Damn SR...

i was never planning on selling them i just bought all the tires i would need for next summer's drifting season but now i'll only get half of what i need.

and it's not worth reporting them to the bbb

and they are all the same size. why would i buy 24 tires all the exact same size if i was going to sell them... the rest were for my gf's car my daily driver wheels and a set of snow tires.

and i made it very clear these were for drifting but they still said no way. i got called by the sales manage.

By law they have a right to decide the amount a retail customer can purchase. The amount you purchased could be construed to be a wholesale purchase because the prices they were giving were pretty much wholesale pricing. Why do I know this? I have friends that buy tires for their own store from the same distributor and the discount came out to just a few dollars over jobber. Now if you provided them with a resale number and opened a account it would be a different story.
Sorry but they do have to protect their own business and your purchase did look predatory they do not want to piss their wholesaler off either.

On that note I am glad the 215/45/17's went on back order because it caused me to order a full set of 225/45/17's today that should be here next week.
