BLOW OFF VALVE Question??????

I had and old school HKS BOV that I just replaced with a fake greddy.Now I dont know why but I notice that when I rev the engine there is this squeak coming out of the BOV.I know its from the BOV because when I plug the horn side you can't hear it.Right now I have set up were the screw is almost all the way out because I don't like when I screw it in that the BOV doesn't have the SWISHHH sound to it .Instead it has like a swish,swish,swish sound.Somebody told me that you lose power when you open the bov screw like I have it set up now.So has anybody else experienced this?

get a real one.

I replaced it because it wasn't swooshing anymore don't know why.My buddy had this extra brand new bov so I replaced it.So my problem is the sqeaking sound it makes.Thats all.

your bov's setting may be too soft and its leaking out because its a freddy....

put the old hks back on and see if the noise is still there..
