no its not true to have a EBC for the Apexi power fc you'll have to buy the unit for it. you can use your HKS EBC with the PFC

yeah its better for you to keep it instead of buying the Apexi EBC unit for the PFC.
the Apexi EBC for the PFC is easier to install cause its plug and play.
since you have the HKS EBC on already just leave it on

The Boost Control Kit enables some features that are not available without it. I'll post the features when I get home tonight. You have to turn it off, by default they expect you to have it. You can also then tune with the MAP and MAF.
If you can sell the HKS EBC and buy the BCK I would. But you can use the HKS with it, you just loose some of the benefits of the BCK.

Do you have to run an electronic boost controller with the PFC? or can you stick with manual?

like what S14B says you'll just lose the feature that the PFC has.
