Hello,

Like the title says, I need your opinion.
So, someone offered me some window visors for the S13 hatch.
These visors are made out of plastic, and is an exact replica of the OEM S13 hatch window visors. I was wondering if it would be a good product to sell on zilvia. Looking at the facts, it seems like a good product to sell, but....im kinda skeptical, and thats why I need your opinion.

http://i14.photobucket.com/albums/a307/tcgx2002/240%20parts/08282007130.jpg

Some specs on these "knock off" visors
Quality: 8/10
Fitments: 7/10 (for now, its just a sample)
Price: Selling price $65-80???

So far, ive only got one set, it seems that the fitments need a little work, but if it doesnt fit exactly like OEM, im probably not going to go through with this. So expect the finish product fitments to be 10/10!

So the questions to answer:
Would you buy it? If not, why? Would it be the price? Or simply the fact that its not OEM?

Of course, if I do decide to bring these in, I will start a group buy on zilvia, and offer everyone on zilvia a crazy low price.

Any input would greatly appreciated!

i wouldn't buy it because westco justin is selling the oem ones for 118 each...10/10 in quality and 10/10 in fitment...just my two cents...

I will buy if you guarantee it fits like OEM. It gets really humid in my car when it rains. I don't want mold growing in there, this will allow me to keep my windows cracked when it's raining.

you would probably have better luck if they were coupe visors. hatch visors are still in productions, and as jeeper said, pretty affordable. coupe visors are out of production, though.

I know, i bought a set from justin before lol.
Thats why the target price is about Half of the cost as the OEM ones.

Thats what I was thinking, but it seems that theres much hatch than coupes.
Theres a reason Nissan stopped making it for coupes. I mean, people at Nissan arent stupid right?

I buy "brand name" and knockoff stuff.

I have a GReddy Ti-C exhaust, but also have a SSAC FMIC.

I have Tanabe coilovers, but also have an ebay downpipe.

But to me, something as simple as a window visor to me doesn't need to be OEM Nissan.

I would buy them for $80 if the fitment was 8/10 or better.

only sell it if it fits like oem.
make sure you have your clips and holes for the visors for easiest installation.

I'm willing to try it if its 65, regardless of fitment... but for 85 and above, I better be garuanteed(sp?) perfect fitment

Actually, you dont need the clips and holes, cuz my friend had some visors that he bought from Justin when he was still at performance, the clips didnt help at all. In fact, they started falling off after awhile. Hahaha, this is just FYI.

I think that window visors as long as they fit decent are cool. And if the price is around 70 or so it seems like a pretty good deal.

hmm i sold a set to a fellow coworker and the clips work! but we did follow the instructions....

Coupe visors? Origin!

These knock off ones look like they stick out more than the OEM ones....

Dope. Do ett!

Yeah I have the OEM visors and the clips are beginning to clip apart a lil bit, but fitments is really big for me so I coughed out the cash for them.

Considering that the price you are offering isn't too harsh, I'll try out a set. Beats waiting for shipment from Japan.

IIRC, Origin offers FRP visor also. Anyone have those?

i'd buy them if they were around 50 bucks for the pair... i cant justify spending 120 each for them, oem or not. thats 2 new tires to burn...

Why not sell knockoff OE visors? by the looks of things, some ppl are definitely interested. I need to talk to my friend to see if its worth it for us to make these Visors.

Thank you everyone for your comments! Please keep it coming!

If the price were like $60, I think that's fair. I'd definitely get some, even if the fitment is 8/10. I need some too haha.....let me know.
