interchangeablebody harnes?

My friend has a 89 dohc swapped s40 SE. His body harness was badly damaged. We found a perfect harness at a local junk yard. The thing is it's a convertible. Are they interchangeable? I know there will be a few more plugs for the top and (convertible)motor.
