buy a new hose.. its cheap.. like 1-3 bucks... and just replace it... they also sell rubber caps... but i suggest just gettin a new hose.. rebleed the the coolant system and see what else happens

I had one bust on me. They are not fun to replace, and time consuming. I wouldn't drive it until you replace it. thats just my 2 cents

just grab a piece of the hose, take it to kragen etc and find the right size. Once you have gotten the new hose, lift the car up and pull hose off and replace. That hose should go all the way to right above the starter if I remember correctly. Its not fun, I end up pulling my starter off and I don't remember what else to replace it. I'm trying to remember, that is one of the lines that runs below your manifold and around the back to the turbo right?

no its under the intake manifold, i took the alternator off but i can reach it ill take some pictures that way you guy get a better undertanding its just a 1/4 line that goes to the throttle does any one now whats the purpose of the line going through the throttle from what i now its to keep the throttle from getting stuck in cold weather

Hello IIRC that hose is supposed to pre-heat/warm the throttle body for cold start runing conditions,it goes to a larger tube under the intake manifold. On my car(track/little street use) I have all of those caped off with rubber caps

do i cap the one from the bottom of manifold and the throttle, and what if i use the car as a daily driver will that affect anything

That was my next guess. Ya if you don't mind your car taking a little longer to heat up, and acting like crap until it does then cap it. If you want to get in and go in a short time and use it as a DD, I would fix it. My trans am has that bypassed. It is not fun waiting for that car to warm up on a cold morning, and it takes a while for it to warm up. Also I live in SD so it never gets too cold, if you live in an area that gets pretty cold I wouldn't cap it.

thanks for all the help

Hello ,yea cap both of them & put a hose clamp on the one under the manifold, or it will popoff as soon as the car gets hot.
