I saw a 2000 Jetta on NOPI a couple days ago. It had a 32 coat glitter paint job on it. The 32 coat paint job must've been pretty heavy on the wallet and the car. The car looked sickkkkkk.

There is nothing wrong with flake, in moderation.

Painting a car to look like a Bass Boat or making it look like you threw handfuls of glitter into the clear coat (Someone here actually did that) looks tacky, and stupid in most peoples opinion. It can be done properly, but 99.975% of the people building cars now-a-days for personal use can NOT pull it off.
