Original music is hard to come by, and I'm tired of seeing g-units dance to Soulja boy on Youtube. The Travis Barker Remix of Crank That [see below] has to be one of the sickest remixes to date. I'm no fan of the original, but then again, I'm no fan of the screa'mo version by I Set My Friends On Fire (http://profile.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=user.viewprofile&friendID=245698495)

On the hip hop perspective, who would have seen a Canadian rapper come up? Candence Weapon's (http://www.myspace.com/cadenceweaponmusic) noise reminds me of screwed and chopped mixed with hyphy 8-bit, meeting Deltron in the back alley with a baseball bat. I'm still blindsided, I thought our northern maple neighbors only produced Avril's and Morissette's! My one wish is to hear Danger Mouse, Deltron and Candence Weapon battle it out under one roof. Fortunately for me, Candence Weapon will be playing live with Final Fantasy (http://nissanpacific.com/forum/calendar.html&code=showevent&calendar_id=1&event_id=10) at Nectar - Seattle, WA

Speaking of Hyphy, I was chewed out by a random guy sporting Fubu in downtown Seattle for bringing up the music venue 5lowershop. He stated, "oh don't even MENTION 5flowershop unless you been there, you don't know hyphy, what you saying boy?" I'm still mesmerized by the hypnotic symphany 666 Gangstaz chopped together, Welcome to Bayshores (http://www.5lowershop.org/mixtapes/crackhouse.mp3).

I use to be a fan of Breaking Benjiman, back in middle school, when 9th graders were the girls to chase and long division made me want to puke. There new single, Until The End (http://www.myspace.com/breakingbenjamin) starts out as gut punching hard kickin rock. In the midst of intense adrenaline pumping riffs, lead vocalist Ben Burnley gets weak in the pants and pussies out and gets whiny. I'm fed up with his emo lyrics. :coold:

So who would have known Bullet for My Valentine (http://www.myspace.com/bulletformyvalentine) would cure depression after Ben Burnley spilled his guts. Bullet's single, All These Things I Hate, starts out with an acoustic lull, but instantly rebounds with a kick in the teeth! Unfortunately the song goes back into a soft melody, but builds back up for more intensity. My good friend Devin has two Alpine 12's inch subs and enough watts to power a mansion, I would highly recommend Bullet's album if your sick of panzies. Crank up there single Tears Don't Fall and donkey punch your closest friend, just rage the f*$# out. It's all about the double kicks!

In the end, I have to revert to my roots, DJ Silvia (http://www.myspace.com/mixcreater) produces addictive tracks. Silvia's mixed tape Night at ClubTraffic will forever ring throughout the Seattle Underground with rambunctious infections of ecstasy.

And whats with BassHunter's new single, Beer At The Bar? (http://www.myspace.com/basshunterdance) What a nerd, I'll sit on Ventrilo playing my favorite DotA maps and irc Anna for the rest of this Sunday evening.

Speaking of gaming, LastChaos (http://lastchaos.aeriagames.com/) is one of the greatest free MMO's I've ever played. If you get a chance, download the 512MB installer and get the patches. I gave up on World of Warcraft, but unfortunately LastChaos kicked up another addictive habit!

Whats a musician you would recommend for a highly addicted mp3 freak? The RIAA could hardly catch me these days, with torrent sites being shut down by the Acts to Protect Privacy. Thankfully Myspace Music and Last.FM has solved my habitual law breaking activities. :boink:
