Hey everyone,
I am supporting the team that was the creative brilliance behind RESFEST for the last ten years who are launching a big 'ol festival in Los Angeles at Barsndall Art Park September 28th, 29th and 30th called the SWERVE FESTIVAL (http://swervefestival.com/).
Seriously folks... clear your calendars.
This thing is going to be awesome.... and by awesome, I mean... really really really awesome. It's equal parts Music, Art and Film...

Free Shows by: We Are Scientists, DeVotchKa, The Black Angels, Bonde Do Role, Foreign Born, Snowden, Oh No! Oh My!, Illinois, Thee More Shallows, NASA... and more... folks... there is a surprise show on Sunday (at 2:15 pm) that is NOT TO BE MISSED...
FILM
The Flux team is internationally known for their programming. These kids are the BEST at bring you the most innovative and progressive features, shorts and music videos out there. This festival is no different. Opening night of Swerve Festival features SURFWISE (http://swervefestival.com/films/3), Doug Pray's highly acclaimed and much anticipated new project. Closing night of the Festival is Anton Corbijn’s ated new project. controversial film Control (http://swervefestival.com/films/1") which tells the story of Ian Curtis and Joy Division. Other projects not to be missed- Beautiful Losers, The Man Who Souled The World (http://swervefestival.com/films/2), The Good Life...

Aaron Rose has brought together some of the most amazing artists working today for what is sure to be an unparalleled art experience.
