I am looking at the Rota Grid's Offroad. 16x8 with 10 offset. Does anyone get this set of wheel fits without any fender rolling or any work?

225/50/16 tires should be used on this wheels? Will this fits good on S13?

Please answer ASAP. I need to make up my mind ASAP.

says 10mm spacer in back. doesn't say offset. i'd like these if i could get them to fit with a non-retarded offset.

My previous 240. They are 16x8 +10. I was running 205/50/16 tires

from the looks of it +20 might fit better.

from the looks of it 195/50s and a 15mm spacer would fit better with a bit of camber.

Kota2440 & BustedS13,
Can you tell me how you get the front wheels fit in so nicely? I tested fit it and it has an inch sticking out. Do I need to pull the fender? Is there any spacer that can fit the wheels in? What suspension do you have? I have the KYB with whiteline springs. Please let me know.

not my car. and in my opinion, it looks like both cars are begging to fuck up their fenders on the slightest bump.

I drove the car all they way to CT from VA last month. Nothing got fucked up. I had no issues. I was running GAB and Apexi coilovers. I only had the fenders rolled

there is your problem. Sizes that sit flush with spring/shock combo with be sunken when it's lower on coilovers.

Thanks for all input, guys. I guess i'll need to pass the deal on these wheels. :( I am not ready to get any fender work or upgrade the suspension. :(

rolling dosent exactly qualify as fender work and...there is no need for a pull, which would be fender work.

but i do agree with you, coilovers should be priority.

Rota is so silly that when they do make a wheel in anything close to decent size, they place it in their offroad series.

Largest size in 17 is 7.5??!?! :keke:

Just wonder if you guys know what wheels do most 240 owners get without fender pulling and rolling.

Or, most ppl. did both?

my fenders arent rolled or pulled
but thats about as low as i can go, otherwise im rubbing..
but im sure those FN01R-C in 17x8 +35 can go real low, no issue of rubbing either

My friend actually got that setup and it required rolling the fender for another inch.

not my car. and in my opinion, it looks like both cars are begging to fuck up their fenders on the slightest bump.

All they need to do is add a little negative Camber and the deflection will be towards the middle of the car, and they wont have to worry about rubbage.
