Picked up the 240 a few weeks back.

It is a 1995 SE. I'm the third owner. Bought it from a woman that had it since 1996. Running KA with 166k miles. All original, A/C works so does P/S, 5 speed, VLSD, 5 lug.

Has a dent in the front fender, driver side window does not work. Owner thought the engine was bad, but looking further into it, it was not.

So final price 800.00 dont hate

So...$800.00 and...what did you have to do with the woman? :boink: j/k haha.

That's a ridiculous price. I bet when you go register the car, DMV's going to think something of it, cause $800.00...damn.

wow what a fucking deal, what was wrong with the engine?

nothing, just the basic timing chain noise and leaking oil pan

so far i installed a cd player and 4 new pioneer speakers. Went to Advance Autoparts and got the headlight package cleaner for 20.00 and what a difference it made. The headlights look new once again.

Haha damn... That's a deal that you will NEVER find anywhere near California. Or the west coast for that matter. People price gouge the shit out of 240s out here.

For $800 you could maaaaybe get a fucked up ass rolling chassis that will take a ton of work to get moving.

I bought a '95 SE non-sunroof with LSD for $800. It was the most awesome S-chassis I had ever had.

And I just traded a stock '93 SC300 for this:

with this under the hood:

I think it was a good trade considering we both got what we wanted. :2f2f:

I will say, though, that the OP's car is definitely cleaner than the one I got for $800. Nice find.

Wow, awesome deal.

Props to you.

You'd be surprised what you can find in backwater America. If you ever find the time, take a a couple hours to drive outside the big cities and check around some of the small, backroad towns.

People there have all sorts of shit sitting in the front and backyards that they don't know what to do with.

True. I bought a 95 SE 5spd with ABS for $150 last month, granted it wasn't near as nice, most the interior was painted white, but it only had a little quarter panel damage. It had been sitting behind a house, hidden for awhile, guy just wanted it gone.
Picked up a 98 last week with light front end damage for $1000, black 5spd SE without sunroof, super clean. Needs about $900 in parts to be roadworthy. Impound auctions always have a rare find too, bought a 92 Maxima SE last week for $400, car runs/drives better than anything I've ever bought used, good title, ice cold A/C, all it needs is a new rear seat cover and some wax.
