Im looking to buy my first motor SR swap. Im located here in texas, so I just need something around here thats affordable and has some good creditbility under their belt.
I know about Heavy Throttle, but want to search some more too.
Any help appreciated.

Hmm idk iv'e never bought from them.my friend bought his 2j from them and it runs like a champ.but i guess that was one of those lucky engines.

since Jazz is in state might as well try driving up and getting a feel for the company and what they have.
any bad vibes or sketchy shit then run out asap.
yeah, im about an hour away from heavy throttle...and before i got my engine, i took a visit to the shop, and talked with jeff and his mechanics for awhile, just to make sure i was dropping my cash off at the right place.

jrautosale is a good place! a complete sr for 2600 ship to me in oklahoma! vincent is a very cool guy to talk to and is very inform on what he will do before he ship that motor out to you! you should talk to him and see whats up!

yup, the best way to do business with local shops, get to know them and let them get to know you. Local is best first stop since you may be visiting quite often.
if your local shops are junk then start searching around your region for the nearest reputable provider
