Hello guys I have an s14 and the weather stripping around the back glass is starting to come out especially around the corners. My question is, can I just pull on the weather stripping to get it out or will the back glass come out? I just dont want the glass to come out. Thanks in advance! :)

no the glass is held in by high strength glue. Take the weather stripping out and then take it to a window place to have them put new one in. It should not be expensive at all.

Is there glue that holds it or did hold it in place or does the weather stripping just fit in place? I would rather do this myself if i can.

The OE outer moulding snaps into place in a retainer that the glass sits in. Usually once it begins to pull up it's not going to sit back in anymore, but you can try a little RTV and tape it down until it dries. A new strip is about $30 from the dealer, it will snap into place better as long as the retainer isn't damaged.

So I went and bought the weather stripping from the dealership and put it in the other day. It seemed to stay in there good. Well, today I went out to my car and looked at it and it was trying to come out. I hope my retainer isnt damaged. Do you guys think it will stay in there with some weather stripping glue? I didnt think I had to use any?
