My clutch pretty much decided to die this weekend, and Im on the lookout for a new clutch. I've been running the XTD stage 3, and didn't have much bad to say about it... besides it only lasting roughly 20k miles. Right now its just a bolt on KA, but should be KAT by summer next year. I've been looking for something full disk, won't be to aggressive for DD, eventually hold 300 ft-lb, and that will last more than this last clutch. The two that seem to be exactly what Im looking for are the Competition clutch stage 3, and the Clutchmaster FX300. Both are full disk, supposedly have long life, and should handle the power I plan. Anyone have experience with either of these... seemed like everyone either had the 1,2, or 4 stage clutches. I'm trying to keep this cheap since it wasn't expected, but I don't want to skimp on the clutch. Are there any other options that compare to these?

RPS max street. I love mine, pedal feel is a little tough, but it holds great and has stood up to a good amount of abuse.

How long have you had it in the car, I want to get this done once, and not deal with it for a few years.

Oh snap, when did Fidanza come out with that flywheel? Awesome. Tilton cerametallic single would be tits for my car.

I actually would love a twin plate clutch just because of less rotating mass, but since Im not made of money nor will I need that much holding power.
That's why making a flywheel to use a standard 184mm clutch is so nice. You can get anything from a single plate organic to a triple plate carbon. Plus it opens up the clutch options. Now you can rock clutches from Sachs, Alcon, AP, Tilton, Quartermaster, etc. Really it's pretty sweet Fidanza is making that flywheel.

Well next time, once the cars turbo, and this flywheel is gone I may go with the multi plate clutch idea. I went ahead, and ordered the RPS Max Street after searching this and a few other boards.
