nice pic
but yea i know how..to do black housing juss open up ur headlights and cover up the reflectors and use heat resistant black paint...or watever color u wish, ive seen a JDM s15 that was red and painted his house red to match, get mah diff? but yea,..cover up reflectors and use the heat paint and spray away
also i dunno if there are covers for not for the outside, but to do that use transparent paint or something forgot wat its called..i juss asked my friend and he said its "Tint in a can" or something..not paint that paints ur car..take out the headlight and spray away, use how many ever coats, my friend used the red tint to tint out his taillights
but yea thats how u do it, there may be other ways but thats the way i know it
This is something I've never understood the concept of. Why on earth would someone want to black out their headlight?
Don't get me wrong, I'm not taking shots at the ricer trend of blacking all clear glass/plastic out, but even in motorsports... particularly japanese motorsports, their headlights are often blacked out.
Thing is, at the same time, their lights are (often) on-- so all you see is a little orange/yellow glow... Why? is this so it doesn't hurt other drivers' eyes while still making their own vehicle more visible, or what?

That pic looks nice, but if you drive around here with headlights like that your asking to get pulled over.
But here is how you can get black housing...well not like that, but still nice.
1. take off lights
2.put lights in oven for 10 minutes
3.take out(with care CAREFUL it will be hot)
4.wait till it cools
5.buy flat black spray paint and spray a thin layer
6.after it dries, back into the oven then put it back together

Umm...I'm not sure if I'm understanding what you guys are saying...You're talking about popping the headlights open and spraying black paint on the inside of the glass lens? I don't think that would be such a good idea...Especially a flat black paint. If you were to do that, the only thing you'd wanna use it that spray tint stuff, that's a transparent smoked color. If you were to just spray black paint on the lens, the light would barely show through. With the spray tint stuff, it still allows most of the light to shine through. But, what's in the picture appear to be a plastic cover that just goes on the outside of the light. Especially since it's covering the corner lamps too...You might see if Target makes those, since it's their car it's on. I've seen the car before, but I haven't actually seen those covers for sale anywhere.

I was talking about spraying the housing or silver part of the headlight flat black. You use the oven to soften up the glue so that the glass cover can come off, then you spray the housing (not the projectors and lights). <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/satisfied.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':satisfied:'>

i dunno how it works where u all live, but in my state, any tint or covering on the head OR tail lights is technically illegal. In general, no one cares, but if a cop is looking to get you for something, or add on to something he's already go u for, it's a hefty fine.
Personally I don't understand why people are so into the blackened lights and altezza style (the carbon fiber altezza anyway). Silver is a badass color, and nothing make a car look cleaner than a deep primary color paintjob and crystal clear lights.

I see what you're saying, but spraying the chrome part of the headlight won't give you the same look as he is showing a pic of. I've seen it done too, and it looks really nice, especially since it doesn't hinder the light.

well I live in Indiana so no autorities really give a damn about blackouts. I think my car would look alot sleeker with a black housing not just a full blackout. If you dont know what im talking about just look at the new mustangs, black housings not a blackout lens. I think itd make my car look better since mine is black.

So no one actually knows where can he get the plastic eye covers specifically? i believe that cover is practically impressive TO COPS, i would do it if it's legal.

note that he said "Black Housing" or that full black cover thing and in my post i explained it..for the full black cover u use the tint can spray an for black housing [which is inside the headlights ex: ITR headlights are black housing vs normal integra lights which are chrome]..u spray the inside of the headlight but not the reflectors..thast for black housing..GT spec R explained it and i also explained it
