Im going crazy, my car was in the body shop for 2 months just limping in and out of the shop, I get it back and the alternators dead, so i change it and she ran fine until the other day when i started driving it around again and the fat power wire on the back of the alternator broke off. So i fix the wire and start driving back from my friends house and the car isn't holding voltage over 12v and when i go full throttle it breaks up or detonates like crazy around like 5-6k if im full throttle, but if i rev it out with like half throttle its fine.
So i go home and check my grounds and the main ground in the engine bay is really loose so i take it off clean it and re-tighten it and also add another ground from the block to the engine bay, which helped a little.
What i did notice tho is that if the car is cold i can go full throttle and shell be fine but once it warms up a little it starts stumbling. I also took the car for a slow cruise last night to see what other symptoms it has and when i come off the throttle the voltage automatically drops to 10-11 and when i get back on the throttle it shoots back up to 12.5ish.
Then things got real weird, as i was driving home my HIDs started to flicker and the radio would start flickering and the HUD would drop down to 0 and back to my current speed but it wouldn't affect the cars idle. then as im pulling into my driveway everything starts flickering on and off a lot simultaneously, all my gauges, the whole cluster, my radio & head lights. the idle was stumbling and the voltage gauge said 10v.

the batt is also in the trunk and i put a smaller battery i had laying around the shop in, but i highly doubt its the batt size.

the car ran 100% fine before paint, now its a piece. Someone help me out here before i rip everything thing out of the car.
