Well long story short I crashed my car a while ago and the frame became slightly tweaked . I'm now looking to getting it straightened out and I was wondering what the price ranges are ? I'm located in socal so I wouldn't mind a couple of shop recommendations either

Would be hard to tell. I'd just look up nearby body shops in the area and call them for a rough estimate.

600-1500 Depending. P/M me for someone good, not necessarily cheap though.
My repair cost $2000 to re-bend the frame and paint hood, fender, and bumper. I will not give you the name of the place I went because I don't recommend them due to the quality of work they did on my car.

Use chains to tie the car to a tree or a forklift, and straighten it out. :)

yeah i have a 98 kouki so i dont think its worth more then my chassis but it might not be worth the trouble...i was thinking maybe just parting it out and starting out fresh with a s13

That sucks. Make sure if you go and get it looked at you go to a place that uses a laser to check how bad the frame is tweaked. My uncle has a corvette that got hit, and the body shop said they fixed everything, but he took it to another one and they used a laser and found where the frame was bent. They are pretty damn precise.

yeah thats exactly what happened to me too. Body shop never mentioned my frame was bent but when I took it to a dealership for an alignment they said my frame was bent. I mean the car runs straight just some of the holes where you screw in the panels moved.

Yup we did it. Came out good! Shops can be expensive. Id say $2000+

A friend of mine payed $300, laser aligned blah blah blah.. But it all comes down to how bad/where it is. People seriously gotta stop parting out S14s. Slight tweaks and everyone gets their panties in a bunch. Please. Fix your shit...S14s= rare S13s= dime a dozen.
At any rate.. In the FSM you can find specs. Grab a tape measure and a buddy and check it for yourself to make sure you even need to have it tweaked.
At one shop the machine was self aligning.. It was clamped to the frame rails of the car.. Car year, make, model, etc was input.. and the machine did the rest.
All depends where and how bad =)

These guys use it to straighten a quarter panel.

when a vechicle is meassure an imaginary horzontal plane is created under the car, caled the datum plane,(imagine a big piece of playwood under the car) then a diffrent plane dividing the car down the middle is created,(same playwood going down the car vertically) all meassuements are taken from this plane from center out and from bottom up. this value is then compared to know good values from a good vechicle.all electronic meassuring systems work off this same basic principle, the mosre accurate ones are genessis(laser) and car-o-liner (mechnical) less accurate are the shark (sonar) and off brand meassuring systems. all systems can be cheated to show good numbers when the car isnt good. Whats considered good? anything within +/- 3mm about 2 pennies stacked together, do you want to do you think a tree can get something with in 2 pennies distance of factory specs?
as price most shops charge 3 units for set up and meassure thats on average of 70 a unit for frame = $210 just to check the frame. most condiations dont exist with out at least one other condiation so your looking at at least 1.5 per condiation x2 plus at least one condiation on the opposite rail fo total of 7.5 with bare minmal damage or $525 at best.
