Up for sale is my prized 1974 Mazda RX-4. I'm reorganizing my priorities right now so this has to go. I'm sure I'll get another one down to the road. :)
Some of you here has actually seen and heard the car in person couple of times at the meets and you know its worth. :bigok:
I'll first address the minor inconvenience that I have w/ the car:
- It needs a final tune on the carb. You can do this by buying jets and proper airhorns from Mazdatrix or Racing Beat or your local Weber or engine builder. I had my uncle give it a light tune on the current jets and it runs a whole lot better. The jets have been the same since rebuild so it's been on the conservative tune for awhile.
Engine:
- Bridgeported 13b S4 motor w/ j-spec rotor housings w/ 4-port plates [has less than 3k on the motor built by R&R at Upland; runs flawlessly]
- 3mm apex seals
- 51 IDA w/ 4 port intake manifold
- dual MSD 6AL ignition boxes for leading
- dual MSD blaster coils for trailing
- dual e-fans for radiator
- RX-4 oil cooler
- a/n fitting all around
- new hard lines for fuel
- race fuel cell 10g
- holley fuel pump
- FPR
- K&N air filter
- Racing Beat 13b polished header
- 3" exhaust w/ dual pre-silencers & Magnaflow exhaust
- battery re-located in trunk
- S4 alternator
Drivetrain:
- 1st gen RX-7 transmission
- custom driveshaft
- Toyota Celica Supra complete rear drivetrain w/ LSD differential, axles, and member w/ 4x114.3 conversion
Suspension:
- RX-7 GSL-SE front suspension w/ 4x114.3 bolt pattern [this is for all you wheel whores out there :keke: ]
- QA1 RX-7 coilovers for the front w/ RX-7 shocks
- custom lowering blocks for the rear
- 15x8 Sportmax with 205 fronts & 225 rears for tires
Interior:
- Pretty much stock w/ Autometer gauges for fuel, oil pressure, and water temp., and Mazda t-shirts used as seat covers. During Christmas time however, I switched to X-mas themed seat covers. LOL The seats could use reupholstery, but it's fine the way it is now since I have thick seat covers.
Exterior:
STOCK OG paint
80s Cressida mirrors

Price: only $6,500. :)
The car is registered and I have the title for it.
As you can see from the pictures and information I provided, the car is fairly built from the inside out. All it really needs is some reupholstered seats, a final tune and a paint job and this would definitely be a show stopper.
And for my final selling point: SMOG EXEMPT!!! [when you live in CA] and worry about the cops pulling you over for lame reasons when you can buy the RX-4 and be SMOG FREE and LEGAL. I've had countless times when the cops have creeped up behind me, but I know that they appreciate classic cars like this one. Well that, and I'm sure the USAF and LMU stickers doesn't hurt either :fawkd: Unlike dime dozen 240s, an old school like this only comes once in a blue moon.
