Sr20det Help: Stripped Vavlvecover Studs

hey guys,
the studs that hold the valve cover down are stripped. any idea on what to do. are the studs on a sentra ser the same as the sr20det? the motor is a s14 black top

getting the stud out is your #1 priority. If the valve cover is off, you can use vice grips, or file down two opposing edges evenly and put a wrench on it/etc. Lots of ways to get it off.

Yes I think the studs are the same as the FWD SR20DE. Call Justin @ West Covina Nissan and double-check.

the studs are already out. anyone know what the torque down rating is at for the valve cover for an sr20?
