Marco at sr20store.com in Gardena. Replaced all the seals, gaskets, oil pump, water pump, and freeze plugs. Awesome work. From what I hear Garage Works in Palmdale is also good.

I like Marco's work. Plus for sr20store. If not, take it apart and build it yourself and take it to Ali's machine shop in Signal Hill/Long Beach. They do awesome work for an amazing price. I think my friend spent less than $500 at the machine shop for his complete rebuild.

I would probably go that route next time. It'll give you a better understanding and appreciation for the work that goes into the car.

Accurate Machine (where I used to work) in Lakeside (san diego)...

They rebuild a ton of motors and stand behind their work. However, you might not like the appearance of the shop when you get there since everything looks pretty shady. Haha. Also, Milan (the shop owner) has a tendancy to float around during the business day so it is sometimes a mission to get a hold of him. But the work produced is superb.

I've witnessed Marco's work firsthand (SR20Store) and gotta say that from what I've seen it's top notch.

if you can get ahold of a FSM like i did you can build it your self, just have it machined by a shop if needed. i was going to let kure-international do it but i grew some balls and doing it myself. i can vouch for my self.haha
