Is it possible to remove the head with out removing the cam shafts? Also I do have the service manual i was just wondering if its possible.

no way possible....the head bolts are under the camshaft. If you didnt have to remove the cams, it wouldnt cost 300-400 dollars to replace a head gasket.

Can any one tell me what kind of liquid gasket to use for the valve cover?

na, there on there good to. and go to your local auto parts store and BUY A VALVE COVER GASKET!

WHAT!!! THE F! who the hell hould pay 300-400 bucks to change a head gasket!!!! if you cant change your headgasket, or your oil, or your brake pads sell your damn car and take the bus!

I have all the gaskets, I just thought you needed some kind of a liquid gasket as well as the rubber one. I am just unsure of what type to get, is it worth the cost of nissan's or is there an rtv or what ever that will work.

you just need a little bit in the half moon parts.
SuperBlack will work. Any auto parts store has it.

I never said I paid 300-400 dollars to change a head gasket. Thats how much I charge people and thats what shops and dealerships charge to change one.
