i have sim. prob but not as drastic. mine kinda worked out on its own somehow. but it could be the spring type thing for the pedal its self that is soft. im not sure if that is it, but something to think about.

Check your slave cylinder, mine was leaking on my old car. I'm pretty sure it's leaking on my current car.

I'm about to change out the seal with a rebuild kit, and take out the clutch dampener. You should too.

Search "clutch dampener".

I just had that happen on my car, but it is an s13. Check your slave cylinder and for any leaky fluid, if thats the case it should be an easy fix...good luck

Check the spring

thats whats wrong with my car, every now and then have to pull the pedal up from the floor, lol.

and I'm sure the master is shitty

but yea, my clutch return spring is broken, see if thats it as well.

I also ran into this problem but mine turned out to be a nice split in my clutch line right at the slave. If you are leaking fluid you should easily be able to notice this by checking the master fluid height in the reservoir. If that looks low then you are most likely loosing fluid somewhere. If all that is fine then it is probably the spring in the clutch pedal assembly itself that has taken a chit on you. Just my experiences. Cameron

Its usually the clutch slave or clutch master failing. More often than not, its the slave. You can get a $20 replacement from any auto parts store - or a $50 replacement from nissan. I went thru 2 or 3 ones from parts stores like every 2 months, then I just got one from nissan and its been good for a long time.

to check the slave, go under the car and squeeze the rubber boot. If you feel fluid in there its leaking.

I'll also like to add to all the good advice offered that the MC could be leaking into the interior under the carpet in front of the driver seat. Happened to my brother and it took a while to pin point the problem.

Buy a custom slave from me. 22mm (7/8) cnc'd with SS lne to eliminate damper.

check the clutch rod bracket near the pedal, on the end of the rod is this U looking bracket that holds the rod on the pedal. Mine broke in half, the clutch worked but it wouldnt come all the way back up unless i pulled it with my foot.

^^^^ if that's not broken... loosen up that rod up... ditch the clutch dampener... bleed the system... if you still have that same problem then replace the slave cylinder then bleed....

Also check adjustment for the rod in the Master cylinder...I redid my entire system, and it worked fine, then all of the sudden it stopped, and I had no clutch disengagement and turned out to be the pedal not adjusted right.

Air in system. Cracked slave or line. +1 on ditching the dampener, it makes bleeding the system hellacious. Check your fluid too, easiest way to see if you gots a leak in yo system.
