I looked at a 240sx SE today. It's real clean inside and out, few nicks from from rocks but thats it. I noticed that when I drove it that the steering wheel shook a lot while driving. Does it just need an alignment or would it be something else? Also i looked in the trunk for rust because it has a spoiler. There was water leaking in from the spoiler but there was no rust yet. How hard is it to fix or how much would it cost??? Also he showed me the paper work for everything that was fixed when he bought the car. It was hard to read the mechanics writing but the timing chains have been replaced and something that looked like Sprocket C. What is that?? It had a bunch of seals replaced too. My friend looked under the car and said that he noticed a bunch of oil/grease around the differential. It could have been leaking before and then got seals replaced and still had the oil all around it. He had all the work done about 8 months ago. The clutch was also slipping. How much for a new clutch to be put in?? The guy said the lowest he would go was $4500. Also he said the sunroof handle/popper was broke. How much is that?? Car seems real good except for that stuff. Please help me out.

isn't fastback the hatch back? i think you ment the coupe. correct me if i'm wrong. that car sounds like it's in crap... and askin' for 4500? i got my 93 coupe in almost mint condition for 4999. but my advice is: "if you can find a 91 240sx, go w/ a 91." 91 240's run 0-60 in 7.9 while the 92-93 runs 8.3. other than that, i love my 93 coupe

fastback is what Nissan calll the hatch
but what is the milage on it???
fixing the spoiler is a home project some clear sylicon will be a fix
and the grease on the trany could just be from someone that is a messy mechanic but if you buy it keeep you eye on the fluid and if it is leacking then take it back to them and have it fix they should do it for free!!

Keep looking. Don't get too attached to the first car you look at. You can find 'em cheaper than $4500 elsewhere.
misnomer

Yeah, not really worth 4500
