I searched and found some good strarting points but no one really said how exactly it got fixed or they kinda die. My symptoms seemed mixed witha all I read. Here it is.

Black smoke, rough ass idle, dipstick smells of gas, hesitations while cruising on 40 . Hesitation feels like I'm pulling e-brake up real quick and putting it down. While running I pulled each injector out one at a time and to see what happens. I "think" its #3 and mabe 4 as well. When I pulled them out I got a dude at work to watch the exhaust and tell me when smoke cleared. It only cleared when 3 was pulled. But when I took a screw driver and listened to them 3 and 4 sounded funky. Abnormal irregular clicking. 1 and 2 perfect. After taking em out and plugging them back in the smoke kinda cleared and "seemed" fine. weird. It died like 8 times yesterday when putting it in neutral after driving. One time I actually had to pump pedal while cranking. Never ever had to do that ever since I had the car. Oh and my mileage has become shit. Pulled the codes and got cps(this code comes and goes) and 45 WTF? New pump, plugs, wires, rotor button, cap, f. filter, 02 sensor, and alota other stuff. Soooo whats the next step?

Double post. I know what I can do and that is replace one thing at a time until its fixed. Or you peeps who had similiar symptoms can tell me what you did so I'm not wasting money fixing things unnesessarily. Thanks in advance.

Code 45 for Nissan's is:

45 - Injector fuel leak (California models only)

http://www.ka24development.com/ecu_codes.html

Have you removed the rail and checked the o-rings?

Maybe start there..remove each injector, replace the o-rings...and reinstall using some kind of lube.

Try driving again.

Thanks man. The whole rail has to come out? I know there is that one bolt under fpr and I have no idea how to get to that bitch. If the rings don't work then the injector itself is stuck? What causes that? Contaminated fuel or old age.

Once you get it fixed make sure to change your oil and run a comp test. The smell of gas from your dipstick means your cylinders are washing down and an excessive amount of fuel in your oil will make quick work of your crank bearings.

Yeah my bud by no means is a novice w/ ka's told me that a few days ago. This is fucking bullshit I just changed my oil like a week and a half ago.

keep in mind that injectors are mini-electro magnets that operate a plunger that allow your fuel pressure to spray fuel into your cylinders, if you have any sort of problem with your ECU's output to the injectors, or any ground issues, as well as any sticking injectors then you can have problems.

pull the rail up, turn the ignition on, and check for leaks around the o-rings and the pintle.also while its up, hold a rag or container under the injectors and crank the engine for a moment, when you stop cranking all pintles should seal.

first check the harness. use test light. if that checks then

fawk testing the injectors or sending them out to be cleaned / unstuck
used ka injectors are cheap and readily available

buy used ka injectors
buy new o-ring kit for each injector
install properly
done

do not drive it if its flooding severely. watery heavily diluted oil doesn't really lube all that well.

It seams to have "gone away". IDK. Still need to change oil and to be safe change rings and injectors. All symptoms have vanished. Gas mileage has come back as well.
