Okay, I just dropped in an RB25DET S1 into my 95 SE. I had teh harness converted by a reputable person, installed everything and she fired up with no problem! I turned off the car and started it 3 times total with no problems..The car ran for a total of 10-15 mintes.
The car sat for about 4 days before I started it again.. This time it didn't start.
I checked the following:
Engine ground, which is good.
All fuses... (fuse box under hood and fuse box under dash at drivers footwell)
Igniter.. checked for voltage and there is no voltage..
The fuel injectors are spraying, so this leads me to believe thta the ecu is working okay.
Can anyone tell me where the injector relay's are located? Are they teh two blue relays located behind the ecu? Or, are they located by the drivers side footwell, where the fuses are located?
Can anyone contribute any other idea's?

check ,relays, cam angle sensor, make sure the ecu plug is all the way in
if that don't work.. hmm check all the wires you connect when doing the swap.. maybe one of them came apart..
if that don't work let me know..ill be in oh in about 3 weeks if you want me to check it out.

Okay, i've narrowed the problem down to the signal to the coilpacks...
There is voltage present all the way to the harness plug right at the coilpacks. (whether the coilpack is converting this voltage or not, I don't know...)
The CAS is good, the igniter, the relays, etc. all have voltage.
I have NOT checked the signal wires from teh relays, ecu, igniter to the coilpacks.. I am still trying to figure out how to test that properly...

hey are you anywhere near dayton, i have a S14 RB25, and am working in dayton OH right now, if you feel like picking me up and buying a couple of brews, i will help troubleshoot it with you.
is the ECU outside casing properly grounded, it won't fire up if the outside of the ECU isn't grounded to the chasis or is too loose.

Tenchu, I'm located in Columbus, OH. Do you have a green S14? I think Smokey has shown me a few pics and vids of your car.. If I can't figure this out, I may take up your offer!! I will be at Kilkare on Tuesday for a drift practice.

that is strange, because on my last two S1 RB25 swaps, my car would crank but not fire up, then i moved the ECU from the floor to pressed up against the chases, and they both started and ran fine. i suppose this could be because of the wiring, I had the same person do the wiring for both my swaps, and with t tiny bit of wire you could make this happen, or circumvent it.

easy stuff first, other than that ECU grounding thing, is all the wiring hooked up properly? did you use the skyline relays by the ECU or 240 ones?

Yea, the wiring should be good.. Since I got it to fire up teh first time.. I can't imagine something wrong with the wiring to prevent it from starting after 3 successful start up's.. but, I don't know..
I can't remember which relay I used, but I remember that they were teh same type...

was your car an auto before? check clutch sensor thing (tells the ECU if the clutch is pushed in or not so it can start)
and no i used to have a green 98 RB25,but that got sold when the engine blew as i had to move. my car now is a black 97 RB25.

I already took care of the starter cancel signal.. It's turning over, just not firing..
