im trying to put greddy headers on my 95 s14, but i can not get the egr tube off for anything, ive tried heating it up pb blaster more heat, chanel locks, adjustable pliers, 15/16 wrench, pipe wrench but a small one cause of the small amount of room i have. it wont budge at all and its starting to round a little from tring so much, the pipe wrench works the best but i have little levridge(sp?) and cant get a pipe in there to help,

i bought a new egr tube but i cant get in the egr side to try to get it off over there cause there is so much stuff in the way.

please does anyone have any tips or tricks on how the hell to get this damn thing off, im trying to stay as green friendly as i can so i dont want to just eliminate the system but im running out of ideas

the first tip would be to make only one thread about it

secondly, you need to get it hotter

way hotter

If you have a new pipe, sawzall the old one off right past the fitting. Takes 5 seconds.

oxy torch. the hottest you will get it with out actually cutting through it. then a hell of a lot of force and you might get it free.

if you have a chance heat the area around the egr nut nice and hot. like almost red hot. then have a portable bike pump, the kind that uses co2 cartridges. shoot the co2 onto the egr nut to cool it rapidly. this will shrink the egr nut possibly just enough to get it to break free. hope this helps.
