Sorry for the pictures sizes..

I bought an profec b spec II this week - As I read through the instruction booklet, I found a couple of things I may be missing - this is everything that I have for it:

It's hard to make out in the picture what's in the baggie, but there's the power and ground wires for the back of the unit, a screw, a couple of hose clamps and some caps that go in the ends of the solenoid.

I think I'm missing the little air filter they describe for the vacuum line and two threaded nipples for either end of the solenoid.

As far as the air filter, is this something thats necessary? If so where can I get that, same for the threaded nipples for the solenoid, where can I find those?

Why can't you take/send it back? You paid for something complete correct? then get product complete.

because i need a boost controller asap, and I'm not one to split hairs. I got a good deal on it.

it looks to be in good shape. Just contact Greddy and order parts or find a dealer and buy replacements.

that seems to be the best idea i've thought of as well at this point.

Did you look under the white box frame that the unit sits in (if you got it new?) inside the outer box? When I got mine they were taped to the underside of that in a little plastic baggy... I thought I was missing them for a few seconds too.

If they're not there, and you bought it new from a Greddy distributor, they should have zero problem replacing them for free.

update: still having an issue finding missing parts.

I've been to o'reilly, advanced, napa, carquest, autozone, pep boys, ace hardware, lowes, home depot....I feel like I've exhausted most of my options that are local to me. Can anyone help?

when I called greddy, I called the East Coast distributor...maybe that was the wrong number to call, but regardless I called them, told the guy that answered the phone that I needed a few little replacement parts for my boost controller, he told me I needed to call one of their authorized dealers in SC where I live, I called both, one told me I needed part numbers, which I don't have, the other just searched the greddy website for them, which I already did, and could not find them.

Any help you could give would be greatly appreciated.

the part numbers should be in the instruction book where it lists the parts that should be included

I don't have the book here with me at work but I'm almost certain that it doesnt list the part numbers. Even if it does, I believe I may have misplaced the book last night when I was at parts stores.

If anyone would assist me with those numbers, I would be grateful.

with those missing parts i believe there is no part number as they are most likely misc parts they have to sell or special order items. Contact your dealer and have them explain to greddy which is the part you are missing
