remove steering wheel lock mechanism

how do you do this? on hondas, you have to drill out the spring.

fsms don't really mention anything on this...

scca rules require the locking mechanism disabled.

They have tamper-proof bolts that you have to drill out. Pull out the 2-piece plastic steering column cover and look up from the floor.

Not really need to drill them out, I've done this with a flat head screw driver and a hammer, take it easy on it, after you get it loose you are golden.
