Well I can pretty much see how it is all going to go together but I have 2 big washers, 2 small washers, and 2 (nonlocking) nuts (one of each for each side). But I don't have a clue as to where they go. Anybody know what parts they go between? It will only be light for another 2 hours so help fast please

Ok, I think the big washer goes inbetween the swaybar and the bushing thats inside that long bolt and the little washer goes inbetween the nut and the other side of the same bushing. This leaves me with 2 nonlockin nuts (one for each side) After this and some grease they are ready to be put on. Anybody have any Idea where these nuts go?

Edit: 1/2 an hour of good light left...

Ok well its dark now, I just guessed at where the nuts go. It kinda pisses me off that these didn't come with instructions. But what the ####, I enjoy spending 5 hours working on one sway bar. I put the nuts on the long bolt with the bushing on it. so I have two nonlocking nuts at the very bottom of the threads locking together (like coilovers height adjust) I really doubt they go there but what the ####, I've got to get to work tomorrow so as long as the bar doesn't fall off I don't really care. Next weekend I'll have time to fix it if anybody cares to tell me how it's supposed to go.

Seven and one-half hours from when I slid the first jack under my car (~5 1/2 of which I actually spent working) I have a whiteline front sway bar on the medimum setting. I can't feel my face or my fingers(makeing it very hard to type) but I have a stiff front end. Rear goes on tuesday so my ass will be nice and tight too
I must forcefully suggest that sway bars be the first suspension mod anybody gets, especially if you don't already have stock ones. The ammount of difference going from stock swaybar to whiteline swaybar was simply amazing...I coudn't imagine upgrading from no swaybar at all! I can't wait till I can get some coilovers (or springs/shocks if I stay poor)
Do yourself a favor and get sway bars...

Edit: BTW I still don't know for sure where those nuts were suposed to go but they work pretty well where I have them

I better answer quick before ace gets here hehe
No, that is a strut tower brace.
Sways connect a point of your left and right lower suspension whereas strut tower bars (hence the name) connect the top left and right strut towers. They work differently though...they don't do the same thing just on upper and one lower.
This may be more info then you car to read but here is some Sway bar info (http://www.turnfast.com/tech_handling/handling_antiroll.lasso) and some strut tower bar (http://www.turnfast.com/tech_handling/handling_chassis.lasso) info.

I'm just posting because I feel really bad you've been talking to yourself the entire time in this thread.

Hey DSC do you know if turnfast has all of that info compiledinto a book? i mean cause it would be easier to read than sitting at the comp. if not could you or anyone else recommend some books that cover suspension, engine, etc. all that good stuff.

Hehe, thanks krunko...
Niseslut - I dont' think they have a book anywhere but they have a list of recommended books here (http://www.turnfast.com/refc_books/books.lasso). I've never read any of them but they look pretty good.
You should be able to pick most of those up at Amazon.com (http://www.amazon.com) just do a search under the books section.
