Just got it installed yesterday...faster acceleration / deceleration and smoother revs (my heat shields don't chatter anymore). Everything else runs fine (radio, headlights, etc.). Time to go to the track to see what she runs <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/sly.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':sly:'> .

Sounds like alot of work...but at least you saved yourself $140. <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/thumbs-up.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=''>

crank pulley
also known as the harmonic balancer
isn't that bad for the engine?

They say pulleys are bad because they're not balanced but the ASP and Unorthodox supposedly are both harmonically balanced (I read somewhere)...all I know is that my car runs much smoother than it did before both accelerating and decelerating so I'm <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':)'> .

You have to buy the belts seperately. They give you the part #, all you have to do is go to autozone or pep boys to buyem.

Anyone know if the asp pulley will work with a lightened flywheel? I've heard that this will mess up the harmonic balancer... I've asked this question before, but have received different answers. Thanks for any input. <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':D'>

I've read it's not good to use both, but have no experience. I think the lightened flywheel is the best way to do it, then of course lighter driveshaft, but thats expensive. The pully is a cheap way to lighten it.
