Saturday I went up to Massachusetts to have my car tuned at Dent Sport Garage. With a combination of yahoo directions and the map on DSG's website, it wasn't too hard to get to their shop. My first impression was that the shop is in a good location. Easy to find, only a minute from the town, and clean. I walked into a spacious shop with DSM's, subbys, and other cars inside. Two s13s, one s14, evo, and several other nice cars sat out front. Once again, clean shop, and did I mention spacious? Matt, Nick, and Bill greated me and it was tuning time =) The first run I saw was a weak 230whp at around .86 bar.. This was only the beginning. A little while later while Matt was taking a water break, I talked to him about pushing the car further. At the end of the tune, Matt brought up the following dyno sheet. 1 Bar of boost, and a fourth gear pull. Intake air temps were just fine, knock was low, and the car was running great on the boost! The setup was running perfect, and completely safe. The guys at DSG were fucken awesome, I'm more than satisfied with their service. Very chillaxed people. I had a fun time at the shop, and I'll definetly be heading there again. And the car.. oh the power :wackit:  :wackit:  . On the road the car feels like a bat out of hell. Boost shoves me into the seat, and the car hauls ass. Amazing!!!!

depends on what version you got. Or the add ons you decide to buy. You can buy the boost controller kit which will change from maf to map.

It's so hard to get a hold of you Stan.. call me 609-802-2449. Unfortunately due to monetary problems.. I need to charge you $20 for those injectors bro. I have a credit card payment I need to take care of, and no money to pay with.

D Jetro is the MAP type PFC... The boost control kit does just that... controls boost.

This would be the first dyno sheet I know of that anyone has the Tomei Expreme exhaust manifold. I think this has something to do with the tq. When I talk to DSG I'll find out about the AFRs. I'm sure they have a ton of data saved somewhere.
DSG likes to tune with safety and reliability in mind.. In this situation especially since I'm a poor college student with no access to other cars haha. When I talked to Matt I asked him to push the car as far as possible while staying in a nice margin of safety. I asked him to go past 14psi.. at 16psi my car made 270whp. The intake temps however were starting to go a bit high, but knock was still low.. I'll run 16psi for drag :)
Stock Evo's and STI's put down 220ish whp on this particular dyno. Maybe bill could confirm this. I'll be running my car on a dynojet soon to have a comparison.

Time to upgrade for a bigger turbo to match those 740cc injectors...=p

gt28rs with a tomei expreme, freddy intake, hks 264 step1's, boost was dropping off in the 18psi pulls. I think the intake manifold and cams probably throw off the tq to hp comparison but whatever, the manifold rocks

Looks very nice. That expreme manifold seems to do very well for low end.
we need to make a giant sticky of everyone's dyno sheets posted with their setup so we can all have a good reference point.

Yeah that would be nice.. Im surprised no one has ever thought of that. Im going to send my turbo out to steve shadows once I save up the money. I'm happy with the power I'm making now. On a dynojet this setup should run 300ish whp.. I could just slap on cams and intake.. but for that price I think I'll just have steve work his majik for cheaper power.

Hey Bart, what's steve shadows going to do to your turbo if you don't mind me asking?
I'd start a thread for the dyno sheet but i've never dynoed and i'm just basically stock. lol

throw it off a building...
I heard from my cousin's BFF's boyfriend's uncle's co-worker's neighbor's dad who read that if you find a building high enough and throw a T-28 off, by the time it hit the ground, itll turn into a GT40/T-88 hybrid...:bigok:

He's gonna make it blow like a pornstar for a good price.. Cheaper than buying a gt2871r and a better power curve. Steve's the man!
