ok guys i have an sr20 redtop in my s13. i have 3 z32 maf's (one is brand new). i have it wired correctly. i have a ref voltage and im getting signal to the ecm as well. the car will run alright is safe mode with the stock ecm but as soon as i plug the maf back in it'll wana die out and wont idle without giving it some gas. it does the same thing with the PFC ecm in but it has no safe mode so when i unplug it in it dies. does ne one have an idea on what to check out. ne help would be great. an ecm pin out would be fucken amazing as well.
Thanks

Did you change the PFC to accept the z32 AFM?

make sure your not runing the maf backwards.that will cause that

no its not backwards. if it would help i can post some media of setup/wiring/how it runs.

You obviously have it either
Wired Wrong
Wired Badly (shorts between wires)
Bad/Old wiring.
Recheck the pinout.
Check for voltage bleedthough.
Test each total circuit for continuity.

Did you use shielded wiring for your MAFS? Also, does it run without a filter? What about error codes from the stock ECU? I believe 12 is a bad MAFS.
Funny, a friend of mine locally has this exact same issue right now.

You're voltage at the MAF should be around 1.15V at idle depending on your airflow curve in the PFC. If it's not at 1.15 I guarentee your wiring is off. Also, I know you said you did it, but double check you used the VG30 option in your MAF selection menu on the PFC.

yes i have 1.12-1.17 volts at idle when it can hold an idle. and i have the z32 maf selected in the setup menu. did not use shielded wire but havent seen to many ppl have probs with shielded wires. ive checked my wiring no brakes at soldered points ( that was my first thought). i got the wiring diag from the site everyone uses in sr20 FAQ double checked it. it runs with and without a filter. the thing is it was running and then it seemed like it ran out of gas an shut off. and has been acting this way ever since. i had a maf code (12 is correct) on the stock ecm but i had it unpluged to run it in safe mode so i knew it would.. like i said earlier a ecm pinout would help. running resistance checks to find a wire is getting tiresome.
