Just want to see if I'm missing anything.

I read I need to use the intake mani from a S13 DOHC.

Tranny is the same I believe so I can use the one in my 93 now?

Motor mounts are all the same.

Anything esle out of the ordinary I need for the swap?

you should actually stick with the s14 intake mani.

Not sure. I was told that, but wanted to double check before making the purchase.

kndacomplx, won't the sensors be a problem with the difference between obd1 and obdII?

Swap the intake manifold that way all the sensors are on it are plug and play. Thats about it.

That's what I was told. Cool. Thanks.

I'm picking up a 98 for $300 with 100k. Not bad. I'll clean-it, tune-it up, and throw it in over winter. Get the car all nice and clean. My current KA is leaking like it just got a visit from BangBus.

The s14 intake mani just helps a lil more because it Gets rid of the butterfly valves. Edgar (articdragon) had a s14 intake mani on his s13. Thats all i know i have no idea so i didn't want to go in depth.

The intake manifold is two piece, upper and lower. Use lower from the S13 and the upper from the S14. I'm pretty sure that will get rid of your butterflys and maintain your sensors etc.

^^ Exactly what he said. If you dont have the s14 intake manifold then just use what u got and read the mods for emissions removal. BTW you will need the S13 Distributor then your good to go.

I'm not getting the S14 intake mani anyway, so I'll have to use mine from the S13. Got a brand new distributer sitting around. Thanks.

what are you going to do with the s14 distributor hence that the s14 motor is coil-less and the s13 dohc has a coil wire to the coil?

S14 Does have a coil but its internal and the S13 is External.

The butterflies are easily removed in under a minute, there's no need to keep the S14 manifold and swap/plug sensors to alleviate a few seconds of work.

you're picking up that motor from MikeM?
If so you'll need to take out the automatic pilot bearing and replace it with a manual one.

ECU? Sounds like you're getting a complete car so don't forget to swap the ECU.
The below URL is from the Jim Wolf web site and tells you hou to redo the distributor:

It's a PDF so you'll need Adobe in case you don't have it....
