I need to know what I am able to do in order to start my car.

#1: the main harness is new from the original that was burned together, wires that is.

#2 the rear harness connecting to the fuel pump is good now, I go to start the car, no start, the fuel pump will not prime. the engine cranks. I think the ECU is scrambled from the wiring malfunction. is there a way I can have a code reader disclose this particular problem? all my rear electronics work as they should, the tail lamps, brake lamps, but have yet to check the flashers but am confident those are functioning well.

provide me solid answers, cause I will not accept "go search", I have the original 95 14 manual studied, I just need to know if someone(s) has dealt w/ this particular problem.

I am simply looking for an efficient resolution friends.

I Appreciate the look & offered assistance advanced.

Best Regards

a quick way to see if the fuel pump wiring is good is to see if theres 12v and good ground going to it with a test light. check all the fuses and relays if theyre good. one might be bound to getting messed up after the burn. try swapping ecus and see if theres any change and check to see if the c.e.l. is on. if the car keeps cranking but doesnt turn over, you need to check for fuel and spark and determine the next step...lemme know your progress and good luck

I suggest checking your fuel relays and fuel pump.

So your wires were melted together but you don't think the ecu is bad?

My bet would be that if your wires were melted together on the main harness(while the power was on), your ecu is toast. As a matter of fact, i wouldn't even try using that in fear of melting more wires.

More than likely if your wire harnnes was melted together then your ECU is gonna be fried try swappin it with a good ECU and Double Check you CAS Timing

IMO you may have to utilize the CONSULT reader. Maybe you no a shop that might have one? The code reader usaully gives you a read out of what's functioning, but with the CONSULT I or II(OBD2); it would read out if all your sensors and what not are functioning.

I believe this is the only way for sure. Dealerships utilize these instruments daily exactly pinpoint the exact malfunction of each and every vehicle (Nissan).

G/L Skip!

Jay, thanks once again. I have a friend that has a nissan spl CONSULT, so I will utilize this after my troubleshooting with the voltometer & test light.

THANKs again Jay.

A valid point taken. I will see what I can do about getting this matter resolved. shit is weak, but I will be happy knowing all vitals are fresh once again. I actually figured I could have the ECM re-tuned thus allowing me money going somewhere and not back into step 1, you dig, I really appreciate the KA, and hope to further develop the engine in the near future, but these little tidbit problems I've come across are to be expected.

Thanx for the comment.

It was the ECU. .. .

Case Closed. Much love to all those who supported my state of stumphood!

Till then. GO-NNE!
