First car: 1982 Buick Skylark with a 2.5L I-4. 0-60 in a day. Tranny broke, could chirp second gear tho (auto).

Second car: 1988 Mercury Tracer (still in the family, looks like a Mazda 323), 1.6L I-4 82hp. 0-60 in 12sec. Almost as much fun as the 240 (sad to say, especially with no exhaust ).

Third: 1996 240. Nothing else to say

hell yeah. I also had an old ass cavalier, not sure of the year but i think somewhere out of the 80s. It ran on 3 out of 4 cylinders and took forever to get to the speed limit. I got it for free though when my friends bought a new car so i'm complaining.

my first car was a 1964 olds cutlass with hydraulics 10 switches, 2 pumps, 8 batteries in the trunk, Dayton Wire wheels, The car was like brand new 45000 orig miles It was bad ass but hydraulics are a pain in the ass and very expensive.

i've had 5 cars:

1st - 1983 oldsmobile toronado. 5 liter v8, decent acceleration, fwd. it was a very very comfortable car for long trips, handled 4 wheeler/dirt bike trails very well.

2nd - 1990 oldsmobile delta 88. i wanted a celica alltrac at this point, but instead i got this piece of shit. cloverleafs were restricted to about 40 mph, and that was pushing it to the limit. not as comfortable as the toronado.

3rd - 1988 honda civic dx. this car was $20. it needed a gas tank, which was $35, and the hardware was $15. no other parts were replaced over the 2000 miles i put on it in the 3 weeks i had it. i drove this car hard as hell on dirt, it was alright.

4th - 1986 toyota corolla gt-s. i drifted this car around every corner possible. i learned how to change a rearend after meeting a curb. i learned that fixing the rear brakes after replacing a rear end is important after i met up with a guardrail and ended this cars life. this was a great car, but it cruised at 4500 rpms, 5th gear at 80 mph.

5th - 1989 nissan 240sx. red coupe, 94k miles, excellent condition interior and exterior. my favorite car so far, with the hachiroku as a close 2nd.

the one thing I hated about my Cavalier was that the bracket for the driver seat was broken on the right side so every time I made a right turn or sharp turn the seat would tilt to the left

Last year I bought m first car, my current 93 240.

First was a 1995 Dodge Neon Sport Coupe... packin' the 150hp DOHC and 5 speed... Ran a [email protected] Drove it like I stole it, sold it when it started to rust (thanks road salt)

For a while I also had a 1986 200SX hatchback 5spd. It was slow and ran shitty, then I passed it on to a friend who replaced the fuel filter, which transformed it into a competent car. I had this alongside the Neon because I was planning on doing some major work to the Neon and needed a ride to work. But, you know how that story ends.

The Neon's replacement was my current GTI, which is a lot quicker to begin with. Plus it has a great stereo and rattles *slightly* less.

But then I got the two-car bug again for some reason this past winter and bought my S13. This time the S13's the project, though, as my GTI is mostly what I'm looking for mechanically.

1990 Acura Integra LS hatch 5 speed. Maroon. Awesome car. Went 130 down a mountain pass in Colorado once. Loved every minute of driving that...just as I was about to start putting money into it, some tool in a Sentra in a Chicago snowstorm spun out on I-57 and totaled it. Grrrreeeeat. I drove a Neon for 2 weeks while the insurance company decided what to do. Neons are GREAT for humping portable stop signs at Meijer. They suck at EVERYTHING else. Then, I jokingly asked my rich aunt if she had any "extra" cars. She said yes, and that for the price of shipping, I could have her....

1989 Nissan 240SX coupe. Maroon. Only goes 118...but hits the limiter HARD. I probably dump way more money into this car than I should. But it's worth it. Especially on days like today when some dude in a Civic pulls up next to me and starts ogling so hard it looks like his eyes are going to pop out.

1st--1990 Pontiac Grand Am, auto, blue/grey with peeling clear coat. It had cold a/c, decent factory stereo/speakers, and handled every bit as well as a tug boat pushing a barge.
2nd--1995 Chevy Z-71 Off Road Package 4x4, auto, black/beige. Nice truck. Taught me alot about vehicle control and demension: I remember driving that thing between parked cars, my side mirrors barely clearing their roofs. It still serves duty as the family work truck/backup vehicle.
3rd--1995 Honda Accord EX, auto, light blue. Couldn't ask for much more from a mid-size sedan (except maybe a little more power...and a 5spd. woulda been nice). Leather interior, good factory stereo system plus 2 8's in the trunk. This is the car I first attempted autox'ing in...and auto of all things. Needless to say, that didn't last long, so...
4th--1992 Nissan 240SX Fastback Base, 5spd., sandstone. Hard to ask for a better handling car (stock suspension w/ 127K miles) for $3K. It handles better now, and will moreso when I'm done with it. My only complaints: factory stereo sucks, and Sandstone ext./Beige&Brown int. is blah.
(near future)5th--1987 Ford Ranger XLT, 5spd., maroon/black. Something to get me around while my car is under the knife for the turbo/rebuild. Many thanks to my dad for letting me borrow it. (I just hope it works after setting up for 4yrs.)

The first car I drove was a 1987 Ford Aerostar. I had to pimp that bitch to school my senior year in high school. It beat the FUCK out of having mommy and daddy take me to/pick me up from school. Heater core went so NO heat in MD winters and A/C was a huge no go...plus it was a fucking minivan.

Fall of 99 I bought a 1999 Daewoo Lanos S ($8k)...what a fucking POS. It was a decent car and pretty fun to drive (my first car that was stick). I blew the headgasket at 10,000 miles. After owning it for 6 months I sold it with just about 12,000 miles on it.

I bought a 00 Civic Si in the spring of 00 and loved the shit out of that car. I owned it for 2 years. I bought a 1990 civic hatchback (biggest POS evAr) with a B16 swap. This car had zero options, was dirty, beat up, etc. I had it for 2 months maybe before selling it. I then bought my 92 240sx, and sold the Si one week before totaling the 240.

I bought the 240 back from the insurance company and put it in my garage. I then bought my 93 del Sol...and that brings me to today.

2) My 19th b-day was reality check for me and I had to sell my Z28 (550hp N/A and 10pts on the license) and get a '93 Prelude Vtec. Boy...what a wake up call.

3) Now with only 4pts on the license I sold my Lude and bought the '95 240SX. Time for fun again!!!
