ok.. well i finalyl got a new car.. i needed it to drive to school and stuff.
it's a 1996 nissan 200sx.. yes 200sx.. it's ok though.. it's not my car.. i didn't buy it.. My dad bought it for my little brother.. he's 15 so i can drive it till i save up enough money for a 240. I plan on buying an s14a. btu i would settle for a clean s14 with low mileage. i just sold my never use redtop sr20det for 2600,(i bought it for 2650 plus 300 to ship) and i'm getting an insurance check for 3800. plus i have bouth 1200 in savings.. and if this won;t cover it .. whcih i know it won't.. if i cant save enough in 3 or 4 months.. then i' will take ou t a loan for the remander fot the money

so if u guys see any good deal on s14's please tell me.. thanx

The good thing is atleast you have a car. You should have enough for a 95-96. I wouldn't worry to much about mileage since these cars tend to handle it pretty well (depending on the previous owner). I got my car for $3700 and it has high mileage, but its running great and no leaks or problems.

BTW, the car in my sig is the Z-edition (not Sportsline)

Cool, you're in VA so I guess I can actually keep an eye out for one. With the money that you're getting, you should have enough for an S14, no problem. I'll let you know if I find anything.

whats wrong with a 200sx? they are tight cars. the only drawback is they dont have rwd. speaking of wich i drive a 200sx se-r.

He never said anything was wrong with it. It's just that there really isn't the kind of aftermarket for them that there are for 240's therefore they aren't as much fun because they have no performance value whatsoever.

I had no idea you're from VA. I live in Woodbridge and I found my car at an independent dealer in Mannassas(sp), right in the cut between some building. You can always check independent dealers to see what they offer. I remember seeing a S-14 in Woodbridge, but it got sold in one week. But I did see a S-13 fastback (i dunno if its still here)....also one at the junkyard without any missing parts, but it must have a blown engine. It still here, in fact its less than a mile from my place.
