Thats right Machine Tune's first event!!!! If you don't know who MT is they are a shop in Gardena CA who built and sponsor Andy Hately's 350Z in D1 and formula D series, Stan Tran's s13 from Just Drift and Shane Danner's RB25 powered s13 coupe from Aerodynes gymkhana events. Event will be held at Willow Springs Balcony on July 29th (sunday). Event will start at 8:30am for tech and we will be running by 9am. There is a 25 driver limit and there is 15 spots still available. Sign-up before the event will cost you only 85 bucks!!!!! You can sign-up at the track and pay 105 bucks if there is spots still open. Did I mention free BBQ for drivers? I know Aerodynes event is scheduled for the same weekend but MT reservered the track and have payed the deposit so this is going to happen. If you would like to attend and pay registration with pre-tech inspection go to:

If you don't want to drive to the shop because you live far but you still want to reserve a spot before the event, send a certified money order or check to the above address and make it out to Eric Wong.

Warm up? What does this entail? Is there competition after 12?

And I highly suggest getting a pay pal or Google checkout set up for this event. I won't pay any other way.

Warm-up will consist of the basics, doughnuts then 8's and a combo of the two after. This will be a low key comp with prizes for the top 3. This event is to have fun and I say comp in the loosest of terms. Sorry Squid, no paypal. Call the number listed and see if you can work out something out with Ali, he's a easy going guy who will work with you.

I'll think about it.

Nah man I live in Bro-Cal, 909... shit factory city.

If I ever get my car running I guess I could drive down there, hopefully they're not full up.

Whats with all the 85$ events? I love it, but just wondering why Tou:k:e and MT can do 85$ events?

what are tou:k:e and mt??

if you check out www.willowspringsraceway.com they have the rates up there for most of the rental rates, or you can just call

throwing an event aint that expensive at wsir

it's the same way with the grip stuff on the sow and big willow, some orgs will put them on to put them on others will put them on to make money

A+ for cheap events!

p.s. machine tune did my first sr20 swap, it came out pretty

Machine Tune isn't looking to make money off of this, the point is to get people together and have fun and get exposure for the shop. Ali would like the chance for his customers and friends to go tear up some rubber and maybe get some new customers in the process.

Spots still available...I should have mentioned beginners welcome, don't let the comp part put you off. There's people signed up who are beginners and it looks like we will extend practice time, everyone will get alot of track time. Don't forget there will be prizes!

You know what shane, i'm sick of seeing you on the damn forum so i'm gonna go bother you at your house and crash at your pad, roll out to the event in your car using your gas and film you and your little friends doing annoying shit with your cars. haha! j/k Shane is cool people that would take the shirt off of his back to help out a fellow enthusiast so just come out and enjoy the event whether your a spectator or a driver it should be a great time all around.

PS: Bring water...
