isn't the onevia a silvia with a 180sx front end?  so isn't it the same exact thing as a s13 240sx coupe?  it has the stock 240sx front end which is the exact same thing as a 180sx and has the same rear end as a s13 silvia.  i dunno it just hit me and i was wondering if anyone else noticed this

Same here, never heard it called that. &nbsp;But ya, in Japan, many people did not like the way it looked and more preferred the Sil80, which even it made it to the production lines of Nisaan Japan.

One from the 180sx and Via from Silvia, and &nbsp;Ta Da . . . &nbsp;One-Via. &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; A S13 Coupe in USDM terms.

and just to clear things up, no, we didn't just make up the term; "onevia" has been around for quite a while now.
redrum240, your "divine realization" (though somewhat delayed) is completely true. <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':)'>

Interesting, maybe it's just because we always hear about sil-80's (which sounds like it's the opposite of the "one-via") because they are dead sexy and not "one-vias" because they are um...not so sexy. &nbsp;Cause I have been in this scene much longer than my membership to this forum and this is still the first I've heard of it.

Obviously you haven't been in the game long enough...1996 it was started on the amarok.org lists. &nbsp;It still runs today. &nbsp;Check it out. &nbsp;Alot more info on there than here.

The sil-eighty and one-via were actually produced out of the factory (sil-eighty in japan and the one-via was the coupe 240).

Remember, just because you have a lot of posts on Zilvia, doesn't mean you know anything. &nbsp;There are a few forums out there on the 240, but the only "true" forum is the amarok.org lists. &nbsp;If they don't know you there, you don't exist.

DrDubbleB

Because I said I knew everything....

guidot, don't be a dick, I never said he was wrong, just said this was the first I heard of it. I have not been on chat forums for 6 years (I was 14 6 years ago and cars were just a dream in my eyes, so sue me), forums are all relatively new to me. Before the internet was just a place to do research for school and get porn.

But since I haven't been chatting to people online for the past 6 years, I guess I must not exist because they don't know me over on that forum...which looks to be a site about wolves, and not 240s...so maybe it's you that should get your facts straight.

Here are the two things that I said:

</span><table border="0" align="center" width="95%" cellpadding="3" cellspacing="1"><tr><td>Quote </td></tr><tr><td id="QUOTE">I've never heard anyone call anything a onevia...</td></tr></table><span id='postcolor'>
</span><table border="0" align="center" width="95%" cellpadding="3" cellspacing="1"><tr><td>Quote </td></tr><tr><td id="QUOTE">Interesting, maybe it's just because we always hear about sil-80's (which sounds like it's the opposite of the "one-via") because they are dead sexy and not "one-vias" because they are um...not so sexy. Cause I have been in this scene much longer than my membership to this forum and this is still the first I've heard of it.</td></tr></table><span id='postcolor'>

I see nowhere me saying that he was wrong in making that statement, do you?

So no, maybe I haven't been in the "game" as long as some, but that doesn't mean I don't know what I'm talking about. To think...I liked you until your smart ass comment about me not knowing anything...

For the record, you are the one acting high and mighty, not me. &nbsp;I have lost all respect for you, but I'm sure you don't care because you're better than me. <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/sleeping.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':zzzz:'> &nbsp;<img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/sleeping.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':zzzz:'> &nbsp;<img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/sleeping.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':zzzz:'>

Forget that, Fastback is the sexiest. &nbsp;<img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/thumbs-up.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':thumbsup:'>

Since I have nothing better to do I'll put my fav list (keep in mind it is all opinion, just liek everyone else I have an asshole that comes with an opinion). This is including JDM cars, but no aftermarket.

1. 180SX Type-X
2. S15
3. S14b
4. Silvia S13
5. Sil-80
6. 240SX Fastback (91-94)
7. 240SX Coupe (89-90)
8. S14a
9. 240SX Fastback (89-90)
10. 240SX Coupe (91-94)

Sorry for taking over the thread but too bad <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/tounge.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':p'>

Some very hard choices. One picture could probably change anything between 2-10. Nothing will ever change my love for the Type-X <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/inlove.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':love:'> .

For the most part I did, but I said that in the post where I showed it for the first time. I juss took the idea, but it was too hard to copy it cuz the bike was on it so I just made a new one, and changed some of the words. But it was a badass walpaper even though I dont like bikes. So i used it for my sig.

Dr BubbleD - I don't think you understood me. &nbsp;

I'm sorry if you lost respect as well, but hey, we all aren't perfect. &nbsp;What I was saying was, go back to the roots, go to where it all started. &nbsp;If you can't find an answer on the amarok.org lists or on 240sx.org, then we hope that problem doesn't exist. &nbsp;People post to this forum to ask questions, some of which never get replied to. &nbsp;Thats upsetting. &nbsp;They *hopefully* go out there and search around some more before they give up. &nbsp;I am trying to restart the fire those lists once had. &nbsp;Ya the lists aren't pretty like Zilvia and FA, but they are much more informational. &nbsp;
It all started with 12 guys in 1996, and all but 2 are still on the list. &nbsp;They recently put together the Convention in CA for the 240sx. &nbsp;All of this was rooted in these lists, that some people know nothing about. &nbsp;I'm talking about spirit here. &nbsp;The same spirit that the members of 240SXONE showed me when they showed up to our past meet. &nbsp;
Please go look around and find these lists and subscribe or search on them (archives). &nbsp;These lists are what started the SR20 swaps and all the modifications you hear about today.

hehe, I may not be one of the originals, but I'm one of the "old school/old fart" member of the old Amarok list...

There was a group photo with some of the more well known old school folks:

Alex Chang, Dave Alexander, Don Nimi, Mike Lee, Angie and Willy, Mike Mamos, Asad, Pat Hall, and me...

Bunch of old farts... lol... too bad we didn't find Simon Kim until later that day, otherwise we would've have the famous Simonizer on the picture too.

I don't know about the term one-via starting in 96 on amarok.org. &nbsp;I'm pretty sure it was called that a lot earlier because I remember seeing onevias and sileightys back in the early nineties right after the S13 model came out and. &nbsp;Matter of fact I've seen cars advertised as a onevia at a used car dealership back in Japan back in the early 90's.
