i think its time for a new clutch and slave cylinder. as i was making a left accross a divided higway the back wheel start spinning and i find myself at about 65-70 degree angle sliding sideways down the road. i quickly counter steer and pull out very smoothly. it just rained so the road was wet. i've been having some trouble with my clutch anyway. its not sliping yet but the clutch pedal doenst come all the way back up and the shifter feels notchy when i switch gears.
the whole incident was was totatly unexpected. i had no intent to do that and wasnt driving spirtly like i usually do. some would say "crazy driffen yo!!" i say what a fuck up.

Luckily you AND your car came out of it ok! Ya, weren't you going to get a clutch anyway, I remember you asking for a not too expensive streetable clutch. Hope you like it.

aqwkmf, a little off topic, but I don't like your future car you got planned man...I'd go with the EVO (when it comes) or the WRX (I wish they would bring the coupe over)...maybe even the GT-R when it comes here (although that might be a wee bit pricey). Ahh well to each his own.

When's the last time you bled your clutch fluid? It sounds like that is what's happening. When the clutch pedal doesn't come back up, it is probably air in your hydraulic line, which could be slave or master, but usually it's slave.

i had the same problem a month or two ago, it was the slave cylinder, there not expensive parts so you might as well jsut replaace the slacve and the master cylinder, parts were only like 75 bucks i think, plus new clutch fluid

Check your throwout bearing if the clutch pedal doesnt come up very easily, or if you have to help it come up. The throwout bearing could be bent/breaking... 4 dollar part. Also a good idea to check for leaks in the slave cylinder, or the lines. I just replaced mine, car feels a lot better now.
