i doubt that u really have a 180SX. i think u mean to say that u have a 240SX Fastback, or S13 FB.

unless u actually imported a REAL 180SX from japan, or wherever overseas...

jspec.com sells the C's short shifter, but, last time i checked, they were on backorder. u could try eBay for the OBX shifter, or pdm-racing.com, but it has a history of breaking into 2 pieces.

don't forget B&M, probably cheaper than the C's, dunno about how much better it is. My friend has used a C's before and he says that they are overpriced, and that he'd rather get a B&M.

Just to clear this up.. the new OBX SS does NOT break like the older one. They fixed this problem.

Best Short Shifter = B&M - $250
Best SS for the Money = OBX - $80

i'm clicking "here" for mods... not seeing em... need a new image... yeah the title was a bit misleading... and to be even more politically correct it would be RMS13 methinks...

i dont think a short shifter would be too beneficial in autox or any of that type of racing. u should get the longest shift knob as possible so u can reach the wheel and shifter as quickly as u can. Look at professional racers even the drag racers. The have the shifters really high, close to the steering wheel.

If you put a taller shift knob on the 240 like in "Rally" cars, you would probably hit the dash.. not a good idea..

For normal people who do not have sequential shifters/trannys, Short Shifters are wonderful things.

He meant a shorter throw...

Also for a firmer shift Nismo sells one but it doesnt shorten the throw at all.
