I want to get my turbo manifold and O2 housing thermal coated. Instead of paying close to $100 for a company to do it, ya'll think this would be a better choice??

man I would never use that spray on stuff. I don't have any experience with it but come on, it can't possibly be 10% as good as a real ceramic/Swain/JetHot/etc coating. I would say pay the $100 and save yourself a headache.

While you're right that it wouldn't look as good as the geniune article, for $7 it certainly couldn't hurt. If it doesn't work, you can still have them professionally coated later. <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':)'>
I don't think that product is a thermal coating. It looks more like some type of rust proofer or protectant. It doesn't really mention anything about lowering engine bay temps.

Cheeper Solution, is to use the Thermal Tech wrap..
I have it wrapped around my DP and Wastegate pipping, and keeps everything nice and neat.
Not as pretty looking as a coating, but for 20 bucks in wrapping you can cover what you need to get the job done.
