View Full Version : Help identifying a couple 240 suspension peices..
Just behind the tire (looking from the side) there is a metal peice shaped like this |----| its the peice you attach your sway bar to. What is this peice? also towards the front of the car (infront of the front tires) there is a metal bar, about a one inch across with a BIG round bushing thing on the end (O-----.)that connects the the peice I mentioned above. What is this called? Just wondering...Thanks a bunch
bla, double post. It said it timed out the first time so I posted again.

I believe the first piece is the lower control arm. The 2nd piece with the "donut" bushing is the tension and/or tc rod.
Is your tension rod bushing all cracked and oozing crap out of it?
its kinda cracked but not leaking...they were both lopsided too but I figured thats just cauz the car was jacked up. Oh also, is it safe to put your jack stands on your TC rod? Sure as #### hope so...
