I just picked up a s13 open diff and it looks like the front mounts dont use bushings and the bolts (only have s14 bolts) are shorter so I was wondering if I stack washers or something to make up for the space.... or should I just bolt it on with the long ass bolts and big washer?
Thanks

I can't remember exactly how my buddy and I did it on his car.. But although the mounts were a bit different.. We used the bushings from the s14 diff and put them on with the washers that were on the S14. Bolted it all back up.. and he used the diff for a season of drifting. Held up just fine. I'll ask him today at work and respond back around 5-6PM Eastern if no one else gets you a definitive answer.

Yeah as I recall it's just a matter of using all the S14 bushings/mounts/hardware... but I don't know what to tell ya about the bolts being different sizes. If spacers/washers will make the bolts you have work, I dont see any harm in that (besides being more rotating mass on the driveshaft).

you cant use the s14 bushings on a s13 diff.
The holes are waaay too small for the bushings to fit.
It looks like the s13 diff doesnt use bushings.

Use S13 bolts, lines up perfectly.
Is that you nose crooking that rail? If so props.

I dont have any s13 bolts and dont have much time to find some.
That is Arto Saari.... Im sure I could do a few tricks on that rail tho. Been skating like crazy since 6th grade
IIRC S14 bolts are about 100-110mm, as S13 uses something like 75mm ones.
Washers will work, but hardware store should have the bolts you need.

does the stock s13 open diff use any bushings or washers or anything or does it just bolt on?

Washers, but no bushings.
