so after the summer im thinking about selling my 240sx for a new c350 le
reason being
1. my dad owns a shop who specialize in benz.
2. if i crash it insurance wont crush my car.
3. its luxury!
but i really dont want to give up my 240
i love it, but since i bought the car for a few grand, i know ill be putting in over the buying price if i continue to work on it.
what do u guys think?
this is my car as of now.

would you be happy driving the benz? I wouldn't.

test drive the benz and decide for yourself. i would only consider a benz if it was an older 190e w/ stick, but even then i wouldn't take it over an s13 w/ an sr swap. or better yet, try to keep both cars.

idno if you didn;t have the SR that would be one thing But your SR S13 is gonna be way funny. After i totalled my type - r i was told to pick a body style of a car that i really liked. Other than the supra and rx 7 the kouki 240 was in my top 3 and it was the only car that i could change the heck out of. Just drive what you really love. What you feel fits you

if you need to ask whether you should keep a 240, then it's time to sell it
it's not a car for the half-hearted pussy

I'd take the MBZ any day. A/C, power everything, full warranty, nothing to fix/repair daily, and women love it. There comes a point in your life when you realize driving around in a loud, hot 15yr old car just makes you look like a thug, no matter how you do it. Maybe you're still young and don't mind it, but I like to look like the adult that I am.
Again, it's your call.

I say it's your choice. If it were up to me. I'd rock the benz for dd and the 240 for track. There done and done.

No need to get rid of the s13. Just buy the benz and call it a day.

cool, thanks guys
i like the idea of keeping both
and using mbz as a dd
and 240 for track.
now all i gotta worry about is the insurance cost of both

i see how the benz could be bad but my insurance for my 240 is next to nothing monthly.

keep in mind that insuring 2 cars at the same time (on the same policy of course) is going to be a lot cheaper than insuring 2 cars on different policies.
I'm insuring a 240sx, a sti, and a crx for roughly 250 a mo/ through 21st century.
If you do liability only, you'll be paying very low. If you intend to track your 240 and tow the car to the track, I don't believe you're legally obligated to have insurance period.
in any case, call up diff insurance companies and find out for yourself if you're comfy with the payments.

Liability only is more money than's required for a track car :P
Get em both. In the end, the few grand you can get out of your 240 only means a few more dollars a month on that Benz payment - you'll go emo over it if you sell it, or feel like a moron if you buy another one later.
Then again, I'm completely with Option, if you're really thinking that you're done with 240s, you probably are.

Both or GTFoff these forums.
And die.
But seriously if you have matured to the point of really wanting a Benz then go for it.
