what is your stock vacuum pressure?

i own a sohc @ idle i see about 18PSI.before i fixed my vac leak issue i would get about 22psi.let me know what it is supposed to be.thanks

I believe you mean 18 or 22in/hg (inches of mercury).......that seams to be about the normal range you are in, things that affect your reading will be elevation (where you live).

i guess i really have a vac leak. mine is at 15in/hg.

Bad tunning with larger injectors can also kill about ~3 in/hg at idle, in this scenario you can use your vacuum gauge to fix your idle also in a sense.
