Im planning on getting some aftermarket struts for my s14, but dunno know which to get or which is good. any recommendation?
for an s14 I've actually never hear of anybody getting anything buy tokico blues (non adjust) or koni yellows (adjustable). I'm stuck with my stock stuff till I can buy me some coilovers so I can't give you any first hand recommendations.

ground control only made spring/ collar setups I thought??
anyways, I have an S14 on GR2's and it isn't bad. A bit better than stock. Koni Yellows are going in soon though...

ace you're right about the GC's, i use tokico's and am happy with them
actually, Eibach makes shocks now (they might just have someone else manufacture them i don't know) if i had it to do all over again i would get them with my pro-kit's

GAB shocks are available for the s14
When you guys compare GR2s and Tokico Blues to stock shocks/struts, are you talking about base model or SE? Cuz I thought the SE has better shocks/struts. Are the GR2s and Tokico Blues better than the SE shocks/struts?

I've heard good things about the koni adjustables ...
well if its a s13 i would not go with pro kits i have a big time problem with them as far as drop and so do others lately.
*i knew i shoulda went with coilovers...soon though very soon*

gr2 and tokico blues are not an upgrade. basically just a replacement

Vancouvers14... Why do you feel they are just a replacement? I'm about to get some tokico blues, so I'm just wondering about your input. Thanks

Are the KYB agx's only available for the s13? I had them on mine and they made a world of difference. That and some stiffer springs and you could sit on a corner of the car and it wouldn't move.

i will strongly stand against the statement that tokico blues are just a replacement, i personally use them on my s14 and anticipate a 1.5-2sec decrease in lap times, so you be the judge

tnord, no offense dude, but that sounds a little rediculous. 1.5 to 2 second off your e.t. is helluva lot. i've never heard such thing.

being on a stiffer car means less air interuption and you stick to the road better so corners ir faster
im not suprised that you 2sec on the lap time

i noticed you threw in the term "e.t." which is typically used with drag racing, so i assume that's what you thought i was referring to, i compete on a real track with both right and left turns, keep in mind they are used in conjunction with eibach's pro-kit, trust me, this will produce a dramatic improvement
whoever is thinking about getting tokico's, they are a definite upgrade, take it from someone who uses them for their intended purpose
