I am finishing up the last part of the my SR swap, and I am having some trouble de-pinning a tranny harness clip. It is the brown clip that has the wiring for the reverse lights. I know which wires need to be hooked up and instead of cutting the other wires off I want to pull them out for a cleaner look. The guy that did my wiring is extremely busy and I figured I could do it myself.

I pulled the green "lock" out, but when I pry the finger up that holds in the wire it still won't budge. What am I doing wrong here?

Pin tool in the align slot, push down on the pin to drop down the stop tab. Push in the pin by the wire, snap the stop dab down, take a small flat head and push the tip WHILE gently tugging on the wire. Dont go too hard.
