Different KA24E motors

would i be able to swap in a 1990 nissan stanza motor into my 1989 240sx? they are both 2.4 SOHC motors, the only thing different is the 3rd letter in the VIN. SO this swap would you all my 240sx mounts and such correct? This should also bolt up to my RWD tranny Correct? thanks in advance

if the block casting is the same as rwd then yes.

typically FWD versions of the motor have a different bolt pattern on the back of the block for fwd tranny case

i wish i knew, the motor is like 200 miles from me, so im trying to figure out this shit before i drive down their! does anybody know of any links or sights that would give me this info?

after reading the original post i decided to take project de-rice out for a drive, figured i'd hit up the junkyard for some parts i need and see if i could scrounge up an answer for you as well, long story short the front end of my car no longer exists and like he said above, pretty sure its not gonna work.
